I felt for this lady in Cranham. She had a decorator in some weeks prior who left her in a dreadful state.

He made an awful job of the reveals. There were massive gaps all over the place and there were areas of pattern that were not in the slightest matching.

Yep! He just walked away... after being there for 9 weeks including some other things he was doing.

If you click this image you can see how bad his UNDERCOATING is... No, you're right he hadn't even satinwood/eggshelled before he started papering.

Very sad.

So... stripping the paper then.

Paul & Steve will be in tomorrow lining, rubbing down, painting windows and then papering properly.

 The previous decorator hadn't really worked out that the scale of print drop didn't merit the location.

Alot of reveals etc.

Paul's been working for me in Billericay this week.

There was a serving hatch here and it was really noticeable.

Started inside... the woodwork had been stripped bare for me. It was full of gaps, cracks and knots.

 I think the after shots of this will definitely be on the website...

They went on holiday while we were creating a lot of dust
rubbing down and preparing ALL the woodwork.
Painting ONE wall and working round the wallpaper.

They left us the key and alarm code without any worries... nice to feel trusted.
