Normally I would mask up and paint to the fireplace but no one could fit him in before xmas unfortunately....

No lining, as per customer requirement, just extensive filling and rubbing down.

The Dining Room

He said he didn't expect such a good job as there were so many surface cracks.

The customer wanted the job done to my highest standards.

A dining room;

 There had been an awful lot of movement due to renovation work the previous owners had carried out. Part of the job spec was a 'no lining paper' request.

...and the formal lounge;

Normally a new fireplace would be fitted before I start, not that it's a problem, of course.

The carpets are being professionally cleaned afterward, though I'll sheet up when I get the paint out next week
