After I'd painted out the study the other month, Nicola came to hang the paper.

I just thought I'd thank you Nicola for a wonderful job the other week.

505_Elliston_Guest Room
Back in Chelmsford.
I've decided... I don't like 9" rollers. I know there's not a great amount of space here but even so...
Drilled out knots. The panels weren't in the greatest of shape either.
Ceiling - F&B; Wimbourne White.
Walls - Fired Earth; Glass Samphire.
Car Body Filler.

504_PHurdle_Sitting Room
A repaint of sitting room included ceilings, walls, 2 doors, architraves and skirting.
There was a bad damp patch on an outside wall.
..due to flood damage, the skirting looked like this. A coat of Zinser BIN, shellac based undercoat, took care of any staining that could have resulted. (This shot is actually from the dining room a job for a few weeks time) http://www.decoratingdirect.co.uk/viewprod/z/ZINBIN/?gclid=CKCPqZjlrrcCFWXJtAodux4ATA
She didn't want me to re-do the windows but give them a 'spruce up'.
I used flash then wiped them down with a little danish oil to bring back the lustre. She was well pleased.
